Ella Ferris

Ella Ferris is a performer and writer from Cairns, QLD and a VCA graduate. Her most recent theatre credits include Never Closer for Patalog Theatre, Creature for Box of Birds Theatre, which toured Mexico in 2025, and Red Stitch’s sold out production of Honour.  In 2022, her first year out of VCA, Ella starred in the lead role of Evonne Goolagong in the National theatre tour of Sunshine Super Girl to critical acclaim. She also performed in the Melbourne season of Tracker for ILBIJERRI Theatre Company and Australian Dance Theatre and was seen in the Stan television series Scrublands.

Ella trained for a number of years in ballet at the Australian Ballet School and commercial dance and musical theatre at Patrick Studios Australia. In 2020, Ella was the recipient of the Lionel Gell Foundation Scholarship in Theatre for excellence.
