Becca Galvin
2026 Hansen Graduate Actor
Born on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, to parents who couldn't be less involved in the arts, I somehow developed a creative streak. I spent most of my childhood outdoors or performing with my twin sister in the living room, and decided I’d be a rockstar when I grew up. At the age of 12, my family migrated to The Netherlands, where my whole world opened up to a myriad of different cultures, languages and art-forms. Growing up in Europe for 6 years sharpened my creative identity, giving me a strong wanderlust and desire for telling stories. In 2022, I moved to Perth for WAAPA’s Diploma of Acting, before starting the three-year Bachelor of Acting the following year, where I received the Finley Award and later the Shining Lights Scholarship. I'm an eager collaborator, who carries a fierce belief in sharing Australian stories with the world by making work that is accessible, unique, and emotionally resonant. (I also still wanna to be a rockstar one day).
